My daughter is 8 months pregnant and had a severe nosebleed...they put the incorrect size balloon in her nose which caused blood to go down her throat and her to throw up blood clots (gagging and choking)...we had to keep going to ER and by the third visit, they took it out and put the right size in and also she was having contractions...poor thing was stressed, but after they put the longer balloon in, no more clots, no more blood from the other nostril...if they had did that the first time, she would not have suffered for three damn days...I am now considering changing her hospital for delivery. Seems all of the hospitals in Broward are 2 stars overall.
I'm sick of this hospital writing off people because they are old. They keep treating patients solely on blood work instead of listening to the patient. The Drs are incompetent. They must have gotten their medical degrees from clown college.
Went to the Er with a bad migrain headache and abdominal pain. on October 9 th like 4am the worst experience I always like you guys , the er staff who came to get me to take me back was extremely unprofessional he greeted me as if he knew me , than had a nerve to say I'm there a lot and why don't I have a primary doctor which my the way I do , I told him I'm not there a lot I only been there 1 other time this year for a spring foot, he basically called me a liar like yeah you are , I'm like know I haven't been here in 2yrs since i delivered my son , he never gave me any thing after 45 mins he returns saying you where right you where here 2 yrs ago no apology or nothing . I never saw the doctor until the new shift the staff was very unprofessional, after the shift change the staff was much pleasant, and I did bring it to the charge nurse alcee attention. I was very upset so was my husband how dare you speak to a patient like that there job is to make you feel better.
Do not come here. Treat elderly horribly. I'm sitting in the ER With my sister. Nurse refuses to give me any info although I'm clearly approved on computer to receive updates. Another nurse came in a yelled shut up to my sister who is a heart patient. I'm her caregiver. Her nurse is rude and turns away from me when I try to talk. Never been treated so poorly.
I was skeptical about this hospital when I was getting ready to deliver because I read all the negative reviews, but self experience I can honestly say it was outstanding! I have to thank Jasmine my RN in labor and delivery. Who made me feel most comfortable! A big Thanks to all the nurses and doctors who dedicate their lives to helping others and all the staff as well!!
